No. We strongly recommend that you buy a fire extinguisher and keep it in a handy location in your apartment. These are not expensive and are sold at hardware and home stores. For further information on fire extinguishers please see the emergency preparedness section of this web site.
Call the doorman immediately for emergencies such as a major water leak – not a dripping faucet! He will alert the Resident Manager and/or the appropriate repair person.
For routine/non-emergency repairs, complete a work order at the front desk. The Resident Manager will determine if the repair is appropriately charged to the building or billed back to the shareholder. He may also suggest a repair person for you to call.
Note that the work order system depends on carbon copies so that form is not available online.
Speak to the Resident Manager about bike storage. He will let you know whether there’s capacity for your bike.
If you’ve had no success in speaking to the person who’s making the noise (e.g., “I’m sure you don’t realize that the noise you’re making reaches my apartment?”), contact our DEPM Account Executive Amelia Ahne at 212-692-6156 or AmeliaAhneellimanpmcom and she can contact the shareholder responsible for the noise.
The laundry room is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
